Why hello there! Due to the outrageous amount of boredom and spare time I had over winter break, I have returned with a few forged maps that some of you may be interested in. I've gone ahead and remade "Smear the Quear" on "Quearena", "Garbage Man" on "Trash Compactor", "Baddies Sneak Up" on "Bus Stop Kids", and "Ghostbusters" on "Hide/Seek Town". While I'm quite confident in the maps themselves, the gametypes need a lot of testing due to the fact that I had no Internet, and no 2nd controller to try things out with. The night in question will depend on the results of the poll, and we'll be testing out these gametypes--making changes as issues arise.
There also will be four double XP codes given out to the 1st place players in the first game of each of the four games that I'm trying to test out. Will the settings for these games be horribly imbalanced? Quite likely! But the point is that we're still all on an even playing field, so everyone has a fair chance of winning the codes. Each code won is worth 6 matches of double XP. If I place first in any of the matches, the code will go to 2nd place.

Gametype: Smear the Q

Description: Flood have to slice humans out of vehicles while they're stuck in a splatter-prone arena. Smear the Quear was an extremely simple thing to remake, but it was a community favorite from Halo 3, so here it is! I originally made the map on Erosion, but because I hated the aesthetics, I switched it to Ravine, and even put it in a quasi-remake of Foundry.

Description: Avoid the ballistic garbage until time runs out! I remember playing this quite a lot back in the days of Halo 3. This is almost an exact remake, the only thing missing is the equipment, which Halo 4 no longer has.

Gametype: Baddies Sneak Up
Map: Bus Stop Kids

Description: As the kids of the bus stop, you must avoid being splattered or pushed off the edge until time runs out. This was quite a popular one back in the day. Now it's been remade in all it's glory. The gametype for this one should be in the ballpark of the real thing even without testing. Except for possibly the time limit and number of rounds.

Description: This one was without a doubt the most work, as well as the one I'm most proud of. I was originally going to make it an exact remake using cargo containers, but idiotically enough Halo 4 has a limit of only twelve containers. With that out of the question, I opted for a more spiritual successor, and although quite different to look at, I've kept all of the building elevations and locations in their proper place. Unfortunately, due to Halo 4's messed up Flood settings, the gametype is not quite so faithful. Instead of 15 ghosts and one "human" (zombie), I've had to switch it around to start off with 15 humans and one flood. This is due to the fact that infected can no longer be given weapons other than the sword. Flood are invisible and can should only be able to kill the humans with back-smacks. Humans, fail bust the ghost and watch all your friends become ghosts themselves!
