Warm bodies...the story of a Zombie named R and a human girl named Julie who fall in love. It is a very epic twist on Romeo and Juliet. In a nutshell, Warm Bodies starts off introducing a teenage Zombie, who actually has a concious, named R roaming around a airport with his slightly humourous commentary. As himself and a small hoard of Zombies go out to look for humans to eat they encounter a group of teenagers in a hospital that were trying to salvage supplies for the barracaded city they reside in. After seeing Julie for the first time R starts to "change" and goes against his normal Zombie liek instincts and saves the girl and begins to bond with her.
Without giving too much away the movie was so so. With the occasional laughs here and there. The acting wasn't the greatest more so the actors playing the Zombies. The storyline felt hurried and I was expecting to see a lot more character development for R. The Gore that you would expect from a zombie flick was really weak. I expected more action.
Long story short: It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. if you are not a big movie theater person I think it's good to wait for it on DVD
