3v3 "Mix" Tournament

Ok, so I admit, the last tournament wasn't so successful. We had some fun, but players dropped like flies. Thats why I'm starting this tournament: to build off the failures we saw and create something that actually works. This time in threes!

One major issue we had in the 2v2 tourny was people either dropping out or not being able to get on for a match. Lets be honest, it ruined the whole tournament. So this time around each team will have more than 3 players on their team, even though this is a 3v3 tourny. And to keep the purple and mix mentality alive, there will be some restrictions on who can be on your team.


Rules for picking teams:
-Each roster must have at least 4 people on it, to keep from slowing the tournament down due to individual's time constraints or people dropping out.
-Each roster can have no more than 5 people on it.
-Each roster can have no more than 2 people on it from the same squad.
-Each roster cannot be entirely BLUE or REDD.
-If your roster drops below 4 people due to dropouts, you can find a replacement if run by me.


So lets make this tourny work. I'll be putting a lot more time and energy into getting us fun games on a multitude of maps and gametypes, rather than half-ass it like I did on the 2v2 one. Games will also directly use FC gametypes and maps (unless not played) from last war and the beta war, so you know what to expect.





Rules: Basic FC rules. If you can't do it in a battle night, don't do it here. Must choose a teamate from the opposing army. Encouraged to meet someone new. Double elimination.

Gametypes and Maps: Will be pulled from 4v4 FC maps and basic gametypes.
Time: Will start after we get people signed up. You will set games up with opposing team on your own time, and be given a few days to a week to complete your match.

Prizes have been nerfed because more people will be getting prizes this tourny.
Prizes (per person):
1st Place: 1,500 vCash
2nd Place: 750 vCash
3rd Place: 400 vCash
4th Place: 200 vCash

Maps and gametypes posted. All gametypes and maps will be THE BASIC FC MAPS AND GAMETYPES most recently used in a battle night, unless otherwise stated. Someone from each team is bound to have these, if you don't nag me or myth.

Games should be done BY SUNDAY AT 4PM EST.
No later than that, no cutting into the battle night to do your game.

Alternatively, I will let you do it after the battle night if all parties agree, but not from 4PM EST until the end.
