You shoulder your almost-empty assault rifle and proceed into the medical bay. A feeling of regret floods your mind as you step inside. The lights are all off except for one at the other end of the bay. You scan the bay with your low-light filters, clear. Sensor isn't picking up anything either.
As you turn off your low-light filter, the door leading into the bay closes. Not seeing any evidence of life forms, you think nothing of the incident. You holster your rifle and begin to search for supplies.
The medical bay is littered with medical trays and empty medical kits. There are rooms that are locked on both sides of the bay. As you continue to search for supplies, you examine one room that's unlocked.
The room didn't look as if it were built for medical purposes, but experimental procedures. The walls, cabinets, and the table are soaked in blood. You step into the room, turn on the lights, and searched the room. You notice that there was no window, only a mirror from the inside. Before heading back out into the bay, you notice a small vent that you could slip into without your shields enabled.
As you step back out into the bay, you notice the light from the other end of the bay flicker followed by a shadow.
