Check out Catch 22's album Keasbey Nights. The band split and the guy's who mostly did that album are now in Streetlight Manifesto, but the album still stands as a good ska-punk piece.

For Folk style Indie, check out Neutral Milk Hotel.

If you're looking for something a little more depressing, dark, and has a bit of screaming, check out Emery.

Want a blast from the late 90's early 00's? Check out Staind, Audioslave, Incubus, and Modest Mouse.

The Flaming Lips, Living Colour, Primus, R.E.M., The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, and Tool are also some good ones to check out.

Oh, and check out Say Anything; one of my personal favorites.

I tried to name off some of my more unheard of stuff, but I've got to get to class. Give you more later.

^ My poison over the last week. I really enjoy the stuff the artists of Monstercat put out. If your into that kind of music, I'd highly suggest looking at the Monstercat label.

Try these guys: http://www.battleofthebands.com/u/ColdForJune

They're from my hometown and they are up in the running to play Warped Tour this year, on my birthday! If you like them, you should vote for them! :)

If I had to guess, I'd say you're the type of person who likes soothing, relaxing music that would be played in Churches and such. Probably not a big fan of hardcore stuff, right?
