Well, it's been a long time since we've had three Updates in this short a time. Hard to believe that enough stuff has happened already to warrant it, right? Well we've actually got a good amount of stuff to discuss.

The End is Nigh!

The Mayan calendar predicts that we have 350 days left, and we aren't going to waste any of that time.

Peacetime will end completely on Sunday, January 8, 2012, at 11:59 PM EST. If you are considering a transfer between armies, you'd better get it posted here prior to that time! Any transfer requests after that will be considered as Wartime Transfers.

It's finally time for us to get back in the swing of things. No longer will we be idly sitting back and twiddling our thumbs on the forums.

While Peacetime ends this Sunday, Forerunner Conflict: Revolutions' First Battle of the Third Conflict of Halo: Reach will begin on the subsequent Sunday, January 15, at 6:00 PM EST.

As always, we are still a Spartan-focused community, and even though it has, once again, been brought to our attention that some members are still requesting Elite loadouts, we will continue to refrain from using them for the immediately foreseeable future. If you are one of those who supports them, then I apologize and wish you good luck in managing to convince us sooner or later. We're stubborn like that.

Some Gametype Revisions

Just prior to us being hacked and whatnot, there was a notable discussion going on over the forums. It dealt with the gametype settings that had been posted up just prior to that.

Well, after additional consideration, the War Council has decided to return to our previous settings of games consisting of a single round of 15 minutes.

Additionally, we are adding in two additional gametypes! Neutral Flag and Neutral Bomb will be replacing the asymmetric gametypes One-Flag and One-Bomb.

The Rules of Engagement

Some of you may have noticed that the Accords were missing a rather significant portion of content. This is because we decided to split the Rules of Engagement from the Accords, and make two separate documents.

The Accords deals primarily with the community aspect of FC, and also with conduct, the forums, etc. Conversely, the Rules of Engagement is the primary document for the information related to the war simulation aspect of FC, and deals with how the war is set up and managed.

So, I present to you...

The Bubble of the Red Persuasion

We've moved our FC Store from CafePress over to RedBubble. RedBubble is a bit more convenient to work with and such, and so we decided to move over to it.

Already, the links at the top and bottom of the page have been updated. At the top, it is the icon.

We currently don't have nearly as much of a variety as we previously had (at the moment it's rather pathetic), but we're adding in more varied designs often.

At the moment, we've got some products containing our logo, and some Congruous Verity stuff for those intrigued by the AI.

Some of the stuff to come include: posters, army-specific stuff, more AI-related products, and much more.

Some Additional Merchandise...

If you think you've got something cool (and FC related) that would work on a shirt, poster, etc., PM it to me. I'm not as cool as Raz was (I won't go and mail you a shirt right now), so you'll need to be satisfied with some vCash, a cookie, and/or something "special". If you want real money, post it up on your own RedBubble account and we'll Favorite it.

For example, EriRi has designed a re-imagination of the classic REDD logo for the new season, as you may have seen recently used on some new propaganda posters. You can check it out here.
