Skirmish : Scatterbrains on Truth
BLUE Attacks Fathom (4v4 Sym)
REDD Attacks The Rig (4v4 Asym)
Last week, we ended up not playing on Truth, so this week's Skirmish will be set there instead. It's actually arguably the best map for it in the first place, so it sort of works out. If you have no idea what Scatterbrains is, click here and take a gander. You can get the gametype settings from later on in this post; please don't copy the settings from the video, I simplified it significantly to make it faster to setup the gametype.
After that's we've got Fathom and The Rig, two more of the maps we haven't yet tested this Beta War. Forge is expected to release within a week, so the final Beta War week will be focused on that, but more on that stuff when the time comes.
Reminder about FC Update 10.0 which was recently released. Read through it and give your perspectives on the issues when you get a chance. The more we know of what the community thinks, the easier it'll be to decide stuff.
The Scatterbrains Skirmish starts at 5:30 PM EST, like usual. Also, aside from Scatterbrains, all the other gametypes are continuing as v2, so no changes from last week. Still waiting on Forge. :/
Gametype Options
Gametypes are still going to be v2, like last week!
Explanation of notable changes:
Fathom is symmetric while The Rig is asymmetric. Only difference in the gametypes allowed for the maps is in Liberation. M Liberation is Multi Flag and only used on symmetric maps, while N Liberation is Neutral Flag, and is used on asymmetric maps. All of the other gametypes are identical for both of those maps.
The settings are Scatterbrains was modified a good bit from the video linked earlier. I removed some useless settings and made the base gametype be SWAT. Starting with SWAT saves you some time because a number of the settings are already configured properly (no radar, no weapons on map, no friendly fire, etc.), and it also gives you unlimited ammo. If anyone has any questions about getting this gametype working properly, let me know.
