Always Online?
Well, there has been a rumor concerning the next Xbox and it's Always Online requirement. I, for one, think it's a dipshit move by a once great company. If Microsoft actually follows through with this, they will lose millions of loyal customers. BUT its only a rumor right? Maybe not, as Microsoft's creative director Adam Orth defended the rumor and it's always online requirement. Let's just say that Adam Orth is a complete dick to xbox fans.
NeoGaf and it's users compiled a screenshot of all of the tweets made my Alex Orth regarding the incident, and Orth has made his account private. Microsoft should be firing this asshat soon.
A youtuber, Francis, talks about the Next Xbox and it's requirement and then proceeds to axe his 360.

Re: Always Online?
I would be lying if I said I am not concerned.
This scares me. I don't have the most reliable internet connection, and if it drops for a few minutes they say it won't effect it? Maybe it will. Sometimes I may not have internet access for more than 5 minutes (I hate the mountains)
If this is confirmed, I am not sure what I will do...

Re: Always Online?
Use the force?
I can understand in a way why they would want an always online feature but it is still a shitty move for the company when you consider how much that will effect the games

What iv heard/read, that the only real time you need to be connected to the internet is when you first put in a new game (basically to register it), but after that, then you can turn it off.
But then it comes down to you need internet to really function anything. So its like, if you have no internet, the Xbox wont be for you.

I am most terrified that we might get a console where every other game has sim city syndrome.
