can't. SWTOR won't update. Only way to fix it appears to lie on Mars. And I aint doing the math for NASA or other space agencies.
I'm not subbing. I might if that isn't an issue. I like TOR, I just don't have people to play with from the beginning. MMO's are boring without other people and when it takes a week to level up.

I am not subscribed to it ether it does not affect the gameplay all it does is make it so you have to do a few more side missions to lvl up
Actually it does effect gameplay. Here is the list of the limitations. Full circle means you get it right away. Half circle means you can get it via in game credits or Cartel Market (Micro-transaction store). Almost empty circle means you can only gain access via Cartel Market.Quote:

The Security Key Mobile App only works if one subscribes. The referral isn't working for me because it says I'm not eligible. When I click on "Click Here for Eligibility Requirements" or something to that effect, I'm taken to a blank webpage. Not blank, but it's a SWTOR.com webpage with nothing on it.
i'd be interested in playing, but i'm a little hesitant about leveling with people. there's always that one guy that plays when everyone else gets off and goes way ahead, and that one guy that has to leave early and falls behind the group, and the other guy who doesn't like a zone so he just leaves halfway through the game, ect.
You always get that one guy who won't join the group because he "doesn't like leveling with people".
With the Warcraft group, we just made alts to level whenever others weren't on so we didn't get ahead if we wanted to play.Quote:

I can see making an alt. I too am a solo player, which is the main reason I don't even play TOR on the regular. Leveling up takes hours of grinding without a subscription or a group.

Now, this might seem off-topic, but it's at least tangentially perpendicular. I oft don't even use my laptop for gaming because whatever dip designed it was like "Lol! Let's put the vent on the bottom." My question is does anyone know a good way to help airflow get to the bottom of a laptop? I can feel the heat through the keyboard, so I know the hot air isn't getting out of the laptop. I'm afraid of overheating.

Also, it only overheats like this when I game.
Try a cooling pad. I bought one for my laptop and it worked for a bit. But the fan kept getting clogged.
Thanks Verboten. If the fan gets clogged, can you clean it? I don't want it to crap out on me after only a little bit.
I played it for a little bit, wasn't the biggest fan let . Ill play it again if we get a group together.
