So With twenty days till launch We now know What Halo will launch with.

15 Playable Campaign missions
13 Hidden Skulls in the Campaign
117 Intel Items in the Campaign
8 Playable Campaign Co-Op Character
21 Multiplayer Maps at launch with 18+ coming for free post-launch
218 Player Emblems
30 Vehicle Variants
175 Armour Sets and Helmets
53 Visors

As for those 15 campaign missions, it is being said that based on the difficulty, when played without running past shit or finding ways to cheese through it, it will take 8-12 hours to complete the campaign start to finish

We're going to have a beta war sometime between launch and Christmas where we'll try to test stuff like gametype settings and get feedback on what people like about Halo 5. It'll probably start off with default 4v4 maps but if BTB is added quickly enough (which I think it will be) we should be able to try a few of them out as well. Forge will be released somewhere around the time that we take a break for the holidays, so we'll have it available to make map adjustments for the first official war, which should start sometime in January.

Have we confirmed they won't have large maps? From what I've read, they just won't have BTB in matchmaking?

they claim 10-12 hours on normal, so at least 4-6 hours worth of content on legendary. ^.^

I'm pumped for a longer Halo campaign. The lore behind and during H4 campaign was great, but the forever button pushing was lame.

I loved Republic Commando, if the squad-play is at least a fraction as good as it was in that game, then H5's campaign will be fucking amazing.

It's not on-disc at all. Supposedly they're going to release it as DLC a "few weeks" after launch.

Custom game lobbies have already confirmed to be 16 slots at launch. You just can't find BTB in matchmaking yet.

That's what (mostly) everyone assumed when they first mentioned it at E3, but they have since confirmed that the maps themselves will not be on-disc.
