The Marketplace is a subsection for two things:
-Posting about, or asking about, places that have great sales on games, systems, computer hardware, or anything else that people may be interested in. With the Xbox One's release, good deals are quite the find.
-Selling or Buying games/stuff with other FC members that you may get a good deal from. Most of us are college aged and can handle this, but obviously trust is an issue. We recommend using Paypal for protection. Trading with XBL$ is recommended as well.
