Him leaving really doesn't have an effect to what EA was doing.

If that happens I would give EA about 3 years before we truly start seeing changes. It's not so much that the games are bad (most of them are good), it's just all the little things they have added. (Online passes, DRM, against used games, etc.) Originally Posted by Maxdoggy

^ In a company, it's all about the mahnies, and until these decisions pose a SERIOUS problem to it's profits, it won't change, so I'm not holding my breath here...

The CEO of a company is just one man or woman; the real power lies in the company's Board of Directors which to my knowledge, the same people are still there = Company policies, financial practices etc will remain the same most likely.

He had such a good start. He promised new IP's and less issues with consumers. Mirrors edge, Dead Space, Brutal Legend right out of the gate. Hell Mass Effect 2 was also fantastic with just a little EA influence. Then it just went down hill from there, sad.
