30 minutes before battles were supposed to start, Microsoft's XBL servers went down. We got all the leaders together in a party and tested the degree to which they were down.
We had reports of people disconnecting randomly and frequently, no loadouts, service tags, etc. We sat patiently and discussed the possibilities and had people looking for updates on the situation online.
At 6:15 PM EST, with the servers still down and no reason to expect them back up anytime soon, we decided by unanimous decision to postpone the battles until next Sunday at 6:00 PM EST, basically delaying the war a week.

Sigh. I was all ready to help set up games and this happens. I was their when this decision was made as well. It sucks. We just have to wait till next time.

I wish we waited the full 30 minutes. Halo 4 came back on at 6:27 with everything working as normal but what can you do, gives us another week to train.
