Welcome to the racing portion of the Destiny Tournament! I am in charge of this portion of the event and I plan on making it extra fun for everyone involved, so with my experience in a racing community I will be adapting a lot of their rules and concepts as that has proven to be extremely fun for me. This event encourages crashing and shoving and wrecking and trolling to an extent (the rules are below and certain things like driving backwards is prohibited). It makes races more interesting and fun, and can cause the lead to change rapidly. I have chosen two maps that are some of my personal favourite, they are competitive, with good spots to wreck others and areas where players can easily mess up.

Date and Time
- Date: Saturday, June 14, 2013
- Eastern – 6:00 pm
- Central – 5:00 pm
- Mountain – 4:00 pm
- Pacific – 3:00 pm
- UK – 11:00 am

Here are the official rules for the tournament. Each race will consist of 10 racers (10 laps) and the top 6 will advance to the round 3 of jumping. This means there will be 4 lobbies of 10 and 24 will advance. What about the 25th player? Well one player will get chosen to advance for being the dirtiest racer!

Tournament Rules

On The Track:
- No going early during the start of the race. You must go after the initial lineup is created and the host counts down 3,2,1, FC in which the racers will go at FC.
- No going backwards on a track.
- No getting off of your mongoose; ever. If you are stuck or flipped by accident, get back onto your mongoose as quickly as possible.
- No using grenades, shooting, or smacking cars if you happen to fall off.
- No cheating; if it is possible to cheat the track, in any way, do not. If someone pushes you onto a further part of the track, you are in luck and may proceed ahead of the others. If you get pushed to a previous part of the track, you are in no luck, and must proceed.
- Pushing, shoving, break-checking, tail-whipping, crashing, sandwiching, and any other form of destroying your opponents is allowed and encouraged.
- After you finish the race (10 laps), you must lineup a short distance after the finish line, to the side of the track. This will help the tournament host tell the order in which the racers finished.
-No slowing down or wrecking yourself intentionally to let others catch you in order to interfere with those racers.
