Question about the XBOX ONE

How many HDMI ports does it have? One for the tv, but how many others for the switching thing? I plan on plugging in my computer, 360, cable box, etc.

If it doesn't have very many, is there some sort of contraption for getting more HDMI ports; sort of like those things you plug into a 2 plug socket to make it 6 sockets.

The Xbox One has one (1) HDMI-in and one (1) HDMI-out.
The PS4 only has one (1) HDMI-out.

I suggest Google. Idk.

Im guessing only one HDMI in for your cable box, I'm not sure you need more because the xbox is technically a comp, dvd/blue ray player, etc.

And if anything, just put your 360 in the spot of the cable box. I'm sure there probably is another way to add another HDMI output from the XB1, but an HDMI input into the XB1? Probably not. Never know though.

So would this thing allow me to use the switcher thing? I'd plug this into the X1, then plug in my cable box and 360. Would I be able to use the voice switch feature? What is that feature even called anyway?

I don't think the X1's Kinect Commands would know how to switch HDMI-inputs with a splitter like that. Idk, though, because it's never been brought up. You should ask Microsoft Support on Twitter about that! Lol

Yes but max is right the voice commands will only recognize it as one input but you can have both plugged in and when either is on it will show through, unless both are on i do not know what will happen then

That will work. I can use my cable when my 360 is off and my 360 when my cable is off. Thanks Fiery.
