    FC:Rec2 Top Players & Units - June 2013

    To prepare for tonight's Capital Battle, here's last month's Top Players and Units!



    Here's a few general statistics:


    • 208 Unique Players. (May had 208!)
    • 1735 Player-Games. (May: 1267)
    • 846,800 total score {enough for 4234 personal ordnances at 200 points each} (May: 660,525 / 3140)
    • 40,836 total kills. (May: 30,628)
    • 40,708 total deaths. (May: 30,850)
    • 19,846 total assists. (May: 14,677)
    • Average score per player per game: 452.74 (May: 497.34)
    • Average kills per player per game: 21.63 (May: 22.93)
    • Average assists per player per game: 11.11 (May: 11.27)


    The stats for all games played throughout the four Battles of June have been inputted and aggregated. Please note that in order to be considered for the Top Players, you must have participated in at least 9 games. About 90 people were therefore considered.

    So, here is the Top Players for June:

    In addition to the Top Players, we're taking a look at squad stats:


    • On average, each unit played 22.96 games in January. (May: 22.96)
    • There were a total of 173 games played. (May: 132)
    • BLUE won 72 games. (May: 57)
    • REDD won 100 games. (May: 74)
    • 2 games were ties. (May: 1)
    • BLUE had 88 players participate. (May: 89)
    • REDD had 122 players participate. (May: 115)

    So congratulations to Violent by Design for once again being the Most Valuable Unit for June, 2013 of the Second Reclamation Beta War!


    Formula used for Most Valuable Unit Rating:
    MVU Rating = { atan[Score/Death] + atan[(Wins+1)/(Losses+1)] }*Scaling Factor

    • Basically this combines your Score/Death squad ratio as half of your Rating and a modified Win/Loss ratio as the other half, all scaled appropriately. The "atan" causes a smoother scaling gradient to prevent outliers.





    Special thanks to all of the Statbook Volunteers for helping to input the stats that made this possible. They're being paid for it, though...

    Might be a dumb question, but how is it possible to have more kills than deaths in the general statistics?

    •40,836 total kills.
    •40,708 total deaths.

    Is it a glitch where destroyed vehicles count as kills or something?
    No one can read this... because I never post.

    Dominion turrets count as kills.

    Destroying turrets in Dominion count as kills.

    Swap the word "girls" for "Guzzie":
