    Fraps vs Dxtory

    me and my brother have been deciding to play Diablo 2 and 3 because we havent been able to play any games together for a long time and we both loved diablo. and i figured i would record it or stream it because why not?

    so i was looking at recording software and not sure what i should get. looking at Fraps or Dxtory. anyone able to help?

    I've been sticking with XSplit for awhile. Used to use Fraps, but XSplit seems more utilitarian.

    XSplit if you want a nice UI and 720p recordings.

    Open Broadcaster Software if you want a generic UI but tons more options (for free).

    Fraps for quality. dxtory I always used on my old PC because it was less intensive.
