Xbox Live $5 Gift Card Promotion

Stumbled across this weirdly enough. Apparently from now until the end of May, if you buy an xbox live gift card of XBL membership of $15 or more you can take a picture of your receipt and get a $5 Microsoft store gift card sent to you via email.

Did some digging to see the fine print. You can do this up to 10 times, but must make your purchase at a physical retain location.


It's not a lot, but for people like me who buy all their X1 games digitally, buying some $15 gift cards and getting an extra $5 one to go with each effectively makes a $60 game only $45. (Looking at you Kaz).



Or if you're not like me, it still makes for an extra $5 for a map pack or arcade game if you already need to renew your gold.
