The Beta runs from December 29th-January 18th and will only feature 4v4 Gameplay.

All the remastered maps have "dynamic elements" too. Sanctuary, for example, has a shootable button that can bring down a waterfall temporarily to block sightlines from red and blue objective.

Only 4v4 now? Now I'm worried, I hope 8c8 are in the actually game. It just seems strange not to add at least one to the beta, maybe they feel they have it down and don't need the feedback. Wow this news sucks

I'm kinda with Zeta, I'da at least had a 6v6 :/ But me having the beta is doubtful so if 4v4s make you guys happy then gg.

Hmmm by watching this video, 343i do indeed seem to emphasise a lot on '4v4 Arena Gameplay' for Halo 5.

Reach beta was all 4v4 too, they're just talking beta not the whole game.

The general idea is they're focusing on basics.
