    Do we get to play more than two maps a night or will there be a dice roll or something to see which part of the planet we end up on?

    Do we get to play more than two maps a night or will there be a dice roll or something to see which part of the planet we end up on?
    We will still play 2 maps per battle night.

    This Sunday MAY only be 1 map due to the MCC party issues.

    The WARMAP containing more maps is primarily for variety, we will not actually play more maps per battle night.

    We haven't nailed down exactly how it will work yet with each planet having 3 maps, but we're currently going with the idea of the maps on a planet rotating in some way. Each planet is represented by 3 maps, but only 1 map is the "current" map for that planet and will be the one played if attacked. For example, the four or so ideas we've got right now for rotating the "current" map are:

    • Each time a planet is attacked, the "current" map is rotated to one of the other 3.
    • Every week, or every so many weeks, the "current" map on a planet rotates. Different planets may be on different timers for this.
    • When an army attacks a planet, the map played is randomized between the 3 on that planet.
    • It's not talked about much, but there's an underlying hint of bringing back some extra lore elements to the war, and we may make the "current" map on a planet affected by these lore elements. In essence, we may make it very dependent on the lore either War Council, a War Director, or a "Lore Master" type provides week by week.

    What about the Defending Army for that planet decides which map is played but once its played once it is barren until all the other maps on that planet are played (so if it was attacked again, the defending army could only choose between the other two). So in essence you are attacking the planet but not the map.
