Hmm .. it just feels out of place, like there are too many Officer ranks. Kinda cluttered. Don't think that an Officer should lead a Squad necessarily. But it is what it is.

same in US Military, they are actually considered outside the chain of command because they are considered specialists and should not be interfered with.(by higher ups)

Usergroups will most likely be sometime in the next few days.

As for when they are implemented, it's up to your army so long as it's done by the general guideline of the first battle of the next war.

its so that you dont have a squad full of soldiers that are the same exact rank. Its moar fun when everyone has different ranks.
