Augustus obviously isn't a smart AI. I was certain I was throwing it a freebie with the cypher I sent to it. Must be one of those older, less smart models. =( Bummer.

If you had been talking to him, you'd know that he indeed IS a smart AI. He's a flash clone of somebody and even retains that person's memories. He doesn't know who that individual is, however.
