Because it cost quiet a bit to use both since you'll most likely have to pay for data plans for both of them.

Ozzy why do you have a BB and iPhone?

I own a share of a company (gadgetgaurd) where they pay for my bberry plan (something like $60 a month). Anphone d the i pay for myself (something like 70 a month). But im going to switch only to iphone at the end of the month and make them pay for my blackberry tablet data plan instead. (Btw. logging onto FC on a tablet is a pain in the ass :p)

EDIT:
Alongside, i use bb for business purposes (I get dozens of emails everyday for meetings, buying confirmation emails, business reports, new products ect) and Iphone for my personal use (friends, family ect).
