We're Forerunner Conflict. The battle is over Forerunner artifacts. They are Forerunner AI's.

On a different note, they're just AI's, a forum event, since it's Halo related.

These seem to be the newest iteration. AIs have been around FC at different times since we began.

Illicit Efflux, Abysmal Epoch, Reverent Decorum... so many of them have come and gone.
