So where exactly will this take place though? Where will all the buildings be? America used to be nothing but small towns and open land. I'm pretty sure an assassin dressed like that will never be able to be stealthy around this time period. They better get extremely creative with this.

Ha, this is like the only game I know that has a story revolving the American Revolution, and honestly it's for a good reason.
Hey, I'm pround to be an American myself and I love my history, but a game where you fire one shot into someone and spend 15-20 seconds (IF your experienced) to reload would NOT be very fun. Honestly, the only way I can see a game like that being successful is if it had great graphics, and was only like, half a mission to a modern shooter game. AND there would have to be like . . . a crazy amount of AI . . .
Like:
+ Scene in the revolutionary war.
+Scene in the Civil war
+WW2 scene.
+Modern Warfare game . . . Not necessarily modern warfare the series but you know what I mean.
Actually, I don't think Activision can even make another shooter involving the U.S. military. Didn't EA buy out the rights to use the US military in a game?

I dont believe you can buy something like that out. Plus its diffrent time periods. If they did, itd be for this one only. But this isnt like that, considering your an assassin not a solider.
I think it would be even more sick if it was set in the 19th century.

Boston Massachusetts called it, heard it here first folks.
I hope they rework the engine. I don't really like the direction the series has gone IE hurr release game every year. Its sad.
Next series you play as John Wilkes Boothe. CONTROVERSY!
This game has been in development ever since Assassin's Creed II came out. It has a roughly 3 year development process right now. More will be revealed in the GameInformer issue that contains a 12-page spread on ACIII.
Also, I predict NYC, Philly, and Boston to be locations visited during ACIII.
