Bravo.... though I feel an urge to eradicate this entire thread for reasoning of belief in a person crafted exactly for each of us. I am going to be cold and cynical here, but we are all similar, we have different experiences but in the end we all experience joy, pleasure, pain, happiness, desire, sacrifice, everything that makes us human is what makes us similar to other humans. Love is simply finding someone you find willing to compromise who you are for their happiness because your desire is to make them happy as well, hopefully that person provides the same affection.

I hate to sound anti-love or anything, but the concept of "true love" is something that I feel destroys many people's ability to be happy, we look for someone who is custom made for us, when what we should be doing is trying to forge ourselves into the people we want to be, and into someone our partner wants us to be.
