There's probably a "register thing" because it's a cracked server and it helps stop people with cracked Minecraft clients from logging on as the server Admin.

But, I should probably make an official post about this, I have a good job lined up this summer in which I will make a decent amount of money. I'm thinking of renting out a server for FC and local(my town) uses.
