Official Beta Squad Machinima Series Thread

Here will be a ton of information about the machinima series entitled "Beta Squad"

BETA SQUAD

Plot: The story of a top secret, black operatives unit tasked with recovering highly unknown elements and returning them safely to the UNSC for disection and technological advances.

Summary: You first meet Beta Squad on their first mission as a team on Sandtrap in a UNSC base on Harvest, one year before the first contact with the covenant. From there, they complete their first mission but are kidnapped by an unknown group of people. Hours later, the squad awakes on the beach of an abandoned base. Certain events happen which alter the fate of the squad. (Kept vauge to avoid plot breach). [Other events take place and the game switches over to Reach]. The squad goes through more missions and is crossed with another squad, Alpha Squad. This happens in the capital city of Utgard on planet Harvest. (About 3 or 4 days after the initial covenant invasion began). The combined squad is forced to defend a critical dig site recovered by ONI. As the planet is falling to the Covenant glassings, the combined squad is in a "backs against the wall" situation. A sudden warp happens due to a reaction from several things, (will be explained when completed) and the team is warped onto a mysterious new place where the ultimate sacrifices must be made to save everything that lives. Human and alien.

CHARACTER BIOS:


MLG Fatcake
Character: Sarge

Summary: Overall efficiency with standard weapons, holds enough strength to use chainguns mobily and dual wield.

L0rd Loungalot
Character: Alpha

Summary: Heavy weaponry, rockets, laser, chaingun, and missilepod. Lively, "Bring it" attitude, comedic.

OPOC1L1PSE
Character: Delta 6

Summary: Precision specialist, sniper, DMR, BR, Covenant sniper tech. Quiet, "get it done" attitude.

Han SoIoo
Character: Bravo 4

Summary: Demolitions expert, technitian. Grenade launchers, basic weaponry. Has somewhat of a nervous tick. "I have a feeling..." attitude.

Character: Echo

Summary: Special medical treatment and close quarters expert. Shotgun, basic weaponry. Honest, caring attitude. "Don't worry" type.

Elites

All basic roles most weaponry and designation chosen for you.

In addition to the main story, mid way through the series, we will branch off and explore each character through their own sub-story. These substories will give a glimpse into that squadmate's past and showcase the reason as to why they were placed as the best of the best in Beta Squad.

If you want a main role, ask for it. However you will need to have a good, steady schedule as to avoid missing film nights to not switch actors as well.

I'm probably not fit to fill in for the main actors, simply because I'm not "totally" reliable to be online . . . that and my voice isn't exactly machinima material. But if you ever get stumped and need lines for Alpha I'm your guy (me and most of my friends act like we're big tough guys but really we're all cuddly and warm inside . . . no homo), so I could probably throw you in a few sentences if you needed help.

Again, only active on weekends, but I'll help in whatever way I can if you need me. I can be a rebel, pilot or Marine . . . but I hate elites so . . . yeah haha.

Definitely will. And I'll make sure it's not on battlenights considering most of the actors we will have are from here as well as myself.

Ok, well filming days seem to be most convenient on weekends so we will probably go with that. As for placement I can't determine any positions until the other thread goes up and we get close to filming.
