For many of you younger gamers in FC, you likely grew up on games like Halo, Counter-Strike, Half-Life, TF2, CoD, BF, and such. Am i right?
But all of these games have one thing in common, they owe their very existence as a FPS to id software's game DOOM. Now this Fall, all of us on the 360 and PS3 are getting a special treat.
That's right, DOOM 3 is being released for the 360 and PS3.
This will include the following:
DOOM
DOOM2
DOOM3
DOOM3: Resurrection of Evil
And a bit called "The Lost Mission"
I can't wait to shit my pants again while playing this amazing game.

DOOM 3 was one of my top 5 favorite games on OG Xbox I am so excited for this. Although to be honest the graphics look basically the same. I'd really just buy this for all the extras I never had before.

ok the flashlight argument makes sense in a canon/scifi sort of way but I think it negates from the scariness of having to switch between your flashlight and your weapon to actually see.
It also added in a great element to coop in Doom 3. One friend would use a flashlight the other a gun.
