Oh My God: Forward Unto Dawn Realization

Ok, so I'm watching Forward Unto Dawn, and something looks familiar in these shots...




So I'm trying to figure out where I've seen this place before, looking through old movies, other live actions, nothing. Then it hits me. When I did a semester at Simon Fraser University, located a nice 30 minute drive from me, I used to meet a few friends by the reflecting pool to go for lunch.

So now I'm thinking, holy shit. They are fucking filming Forward Unto Dawn like 30 minutes from my house! So I google some shit, and sure enough...

FORWARD UNTO DAWN IS FILMING RIGHT IN MY BACKYARD!

I've also discovered they're using Mt. Seymour as the location for the woods scenes. I've put in a call to my old agent to see what companies they're using in Vancouver, and low and behold, it's one of the companies I used to act for when I was a kid (Yea, child acting, whatever, save it.)

Needless to say, I'm going to be making some road trips, taking photos, and if I have any old friends left at the agencies, maybe, a sliver of a chance, I can go take a peakaboo on the grounds. Slim chance, but it's there.

WORST THING IS! I never got my CAS shirt after my semester... :P

I totally posted this on the @GamerDirt Twitter feed almost a month ago when Kotaku found out that they were filming their. I'm pretty sure they are almost done/about to be done with principal shooting so you might want to get their quickly. Haha.

That would be pretty interesting. I'm going to Calgary for 2 weeks on the 20th, and I might be gone for another few days after that too. So, that might conflict.
