Saw this game, instantly thought of FC.






When I get my computer I'm gonna try it. Maybe some of you would try it with me. I believe it will be Free to Play, I just hope it's not Pay to Win.

So is it more strategy or more FPS

I think they're trying to make it much more FPS. If you've played the game MAG, it may be similar, but that had a much more Call of Duty feel to it.
The mechanics worked kind of like you were a private and until you ranked up to a certain level that's all you can be. After level 10 or so you could be selected at random to be a squad leader, at 20 you could be a platoon leader, kind of so on and so forth until you were giving orders from the back as a general or whatever.

This however, you can make your own squad of ten people, and give out orders. Your team will get extra points for following them I believe. Then there are outfits, player created 'guilds' that can consist of quite a few people. I'm not clear on the total number of people in an outfit, but I think 3 squads make a platoon.

Watching Day 2. HOLY SHIT.

I'm signing up for the Beta, safe to say. I loved MAG, unlike many, and this would cure my MMOFPS itch.

So, I have perused this thread as I said I would and am very much interested in this game. I watched the videos that weren't too long(Ride of the Valkyries is always a nice touch for anything that flies) and decided, since it's free to play(allegedly), I will try to download it. No promises though, my computer really, really sucks. Good day.

I actually just got done watching half of NovaTac(thank you Rokkman) and I can't wait to (try to)play this game. My level of excitement is about the same as Halo 4. I would like to find out whether or not you can hijack and/or skyjack. It's by no means a deal breaker, it's just that I saw the No Escape(I think) trailer and what that guy does near-ish the end where he jumps from plane to plane fucking their shit up I thought that was awesome. It would be cool if we could do something similar to that, but I doubt it. Also, where he hops on the tank and tosses a grenade through the hatch. We should be able to do that too. You can in Mercenaries, so the tek is there. Those things don't matter much though cause this game looks awesome between the strategically planned attacks, massive battlegroups, and O.D.S.T. respawning, I can't wait for this game.

TL;DR: This game looks sweet.
