i don't know any of these new cards, i'm used to like, gen 1-3 original yugioh, none of these GX stuff and stuff. i feel like i'm going to do a lot worse than i should.

if your 3rd place, you'll get 1 point, 2nd place gets 5 points, and 1st place gets 10 points. HOWEVER, the people in the top 3 places will be given an offer to duel me, where they bet all the points they already have. if you win, I'll triple it, if you lose, you lose all of them. Sound fair?

actually, not really. I don't think that being on at the right time and being able to google really fast should be worth more than winning 1st place...

1) a lot of people don't know any of the new cards. Heck the deck I planned on using on everyone was a deck where EVERY, SINGLE, MONSTER had 0 attack points

2) I will be nice and make card suggestions. Lastly so there isn't much complaining, No Sychro or XYZ summoning so we can keep it fair

Extra deck monsters. Synchros have summoning conditions on their cards consisting of at least 1 "Tuner" and one non-Tuner monster. They are summoned by having the required monster types on the field whose levels add up to the level of the Synchro monster, and moving those monsters to the graveyard before placing the Synchro on the field.

XYZ (Exceez) must have a required number of same-level monsters on the field who are then stacked up beneath the XYZ monster when it is placed on the field. They have effects which can be granted by removing one of the XYZ materials from beneath them and placing those materials in the grave. Some XYZ monsters also have detrimental effects on the user when they are out of XYZ materials to remove. XYZ monsters do not have levels, but ranks, so effects that deal with monsters of a certain level do not affect XYZ.

Both are considered Special Summoned monsters, and can be summoned at any time during your main phase.

oh, and it's a bit of an honour rule, but how about we only use cards that we have IRL? (of course, people who do not own yugioh cards would be exempt.)
