It is the way of the Sith. We must weed out the weak and elevate the strong. This is why many believe that the Sith can not function as a order such as the Brotherhood of the Sith or even the current Sith Empire that we see in SWTOR. This is also why the Rule of Two was a some what a success. One Master to teach the next generation and one Apprentice to learn. With this theory the next generation will always be more powerful then the previous.
