I want to make a Machinima for a school project and want to know if I need a capture card or not to make the Machinima and how hard is it to sync the voice-overs.

Hmmm...well you DO absolutely need a capture card for the video, but if you have a computer microphone handy I can recommend a great free sound program.
Google something called "Audacity" you should find it pretty fast.
You might also need an editing software, windows movie maker is "ok" but if its just for a school project it should hold nicely.

i was trying to make (one by myself the other night)... but its best to have a capture card (saves money in the long run), the voice-overs, im not that sure about.. have yet to figit with that stuff... but the creative thinking (camera locations) takes alot of work (well for me it did)... talk to anyone that has done videos for FC, im pretty sure they all have better advice then me
