Not sure how I feel about the zoom in for the SMG, but it looks like it fires like the suppressed SMG from ODST. That SMG was fairly accurate. AR with a zoom is a bit much as well. Looks like they elimitated bloom while in zoom aka "Smart Scope" but still have bloom when firing from the hip. I personally think they should keep bloom when in smart scope even with the return of descope on dmg.
Here's more H5 gameplay if anyone hasnt seen it yet:
The health bar in H5 just shows the rechargeable, invisible heath that's present in H2 & H3.
And I'd guess that they removed the grenade indicator because with everyone having thruster-packs they'd be extremely easily avoided if you knew exactly where they are.
Simmons! :3
It's weird. It looks more Call of Duty than Halo. But at the same time, I'm glad the SMG is getting some love again. And the AR with some slight zoom was cool. Just hoping for some good armor customization like Reach had. :c
Who those who think it's too much like CoD: every single person that has played the game (that I have have watched videos of) has said "it doesn't feel like Call of Duty, it feels like Halo." The 2nd/3rd video Kaz embedded by ReadyUpLive and RUL's several other videos give a lot of detailed information.
--The Smart Scope doesn't improve accuracy, it just zooms in slightly. He stresses this several times even though the animation appears to increase accuracy.
--You get unscoped from Smart Scope like in previous Halos, making it very ineffective at close range unless you get the drop on your opponent.
--The amount of auto-aim/aim-assist is less than in any previous Halo game, which is why "Perfect Kill" is now a medal for getting a kill without missing a shot. It's less, but apparently still enough to feel good when playing.
--The Spartans automatically communicate slightly, such as when friendly fire happens, about grenades, picking up power weapons, etc., so even those without mics can still communicate.
--In Breakout, the one-life gametype, players have less shields, which is why players seemed to do more damage and a single perfect grenade can get a kill. (You can also see that the shield bar is faded out to illustrate this)
--The ending scene where the Spartans congratulate each other on a win is accurate to how Spartan IVs actually acted.
Judging from the armor variation in screen shots, I don't think that'll be an issue.

Ah I see. They remind me more of the Halo 4 ones though which weren't as diverse looking.
